I am excited to have the Companion Animal Dentistry for Veterinary Technicians published. My passion has been providing quality veterinary dental education for many years. I have found that many veterinary technician students and those working in general practice struggle with veterinary dentistry's technical aspect and therefore dislike dentistry. My goal with this text is to present the necessary information in a practical and easy to understand manner that can be incorporated into daily practice, thereby giving more pets the dental care they deserve. – Mary L. Berg, BS, LATG, RVT, VTS
